(NewsNation) — Actress Tiffany Haddish is married to herself after holding a wedding ceremony in Africa during an episode of her new docuseries, “Tiffany Haddish Goes Off.”

The six-part docuseries on Peacock follows the 45-year-old as she and three friends take a monthlong trip to Africa. During the series, Haddish can be seen reflecting on disappointments in past relationships as well as toying with the idea of marrying herself.

She ends up holding a self-marriage ceremony in Episode 5 during which she kisses a mirror and steps on glass as part of a Jewish marriage tradition. Haddish’s motivation behind the matrimony was to honor her relationship with herself, according to Essence.

“I started realizing all these things I want from somebody else, I need to be giving to me,” Haddish told USA TODAY. “And if I’m able to do that, when that person shows up, it’s going to be so easy for us to come together.”

Haddish was recently pictured on Halloween with actor Toby Sandeman, whom Yahoo News reports she has admitted to having a crush on.
