(NewsNation) — It’s not looking good for “The Baldwins.”
The reality show, featuring Alec Baldwin, his wife Hilaria and their brood of seven children, was panned by critics, and even on their debut only got 680,000 viewers (less than the TLC average of 750,000).
And it hasn’t gotten any better.
‘The Baldwins’ losing viewers
Last week, the show only garnered 470,000 viewers — losing almost a third of the eyeballs since the show’s premiere, and without eyeballs, there will be no second season… and no more checks coming in.
Baldwin has been basically unemployed since the “Rust” fiasco, where he accidentally shot and killed the film’s director of photography, Halyna Hutchins.
Since then, he signed up for the reality show but is also stooping to hosting D-list parties like the Planet Hollywood reopening in Times Square last week (for which my sources say he was paid a minimum of $500,000).
And the stress is starting to show. At the event, Hilaria was filmed appearing to snap at a lovesick Baldwin while doing interviews.

Hilaria Baldwin snaps at Alec Baldwin during red carpet interview
During a red carpet interview, while Hilaria was talking, Baldwin said, “She’s so beautiful,” causing Hilaria to snap: “Oh, my God. When I’m talking, you’re not talking. No. When I’m talking, you’re not talking.”
Hilaria also accused Alec of “distracting” her when he asked about the “Spanish word for essential” as she talked about having a “routine” with seven little ones at home.

“Now you’re just doing that. Like, why? Why are you distracting me?” Hilaria asked.
Baldwin blamed being “captivated by [her] beauty,” and as his wife continued to talk to the reporter, he added, “You’re so beautiful.”
She demanded, “Oh, my God, stop. You’re annoying me. Stop. It’s not cute. No, it’s distracting me.”
The Yoga Vida co-founder rolled her eyes when Alec mouthed something else to the camera about her “beauty,” saying, “I’m going to, like, walk out of this interview right now.”
