(NewsNation) — Taylor Swift’s record-breaking “Eras Tour” has wrapped, but the Grammy Award-winning singer has two new projects in the works.

Swift, who is fresh off the release of her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” revealed Monday on “Good Morning America” that the first project is a docuseries titled “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era.”

The six-episode docuseries will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the landmark tour. The first two episodes will premiere on Dec. 12.

“It was the End of an Era, and we knew it,” Swift wrote in a message to fans on Instagram. “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”

The docuseries trailer features behind-the-scenes footage, including appearances by Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, such as when he joined her on stage in London in June 2024.

Swift’s second Disney+ project, “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” is a concert film filmed in Vancouver, now including her 2024 album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

This differs from the 2023 concert film, which compiled performances from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Swift’s new projects follow the release of “The Life of a Showgirl,” which sold 2.7 million copies on its first day, according to Luminate, a data and analytics company in the industry. It broke her record for most first-week album sales in a single day.
