(NewsNation) — Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced Tuesday that they are getting married in a joint Instagram post with the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” 

While the news has sent the “Swifties” into a frenzy, bets are already being made on when the music superstar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end will tie the knot.  

According to data from prediction market operator Kalshi, the chances of Swift and Kelce getting married before Jan. 1, 2026, are low, at 10%, with 90% of users thinking the pair won’t walk down the aisle until after 2025.  

One comment under the Kalshi posts predicts, “It’ll happen the day of the Super Bowl, for obvious reasons.”

Kelce and Swift began dating and went public with their relationship in October 2023, when the pair was seen holding hands in New York City after a “Saturday Night Live” afterparty, according to People magazine at the time.  

Since then, the “Lover” singer and Kelce have been inseparable, with Swift appearing at multiple Kansas City Chiefs games, including two Super Bowls. 

Kelce proposed to the “Shake it Off” singer with an Old Mine Brilliant Cut ring designed by Artifex Fine Jewelry’s Kindred Lubeck, according to E! News.  

While the actual cost of the engagement ring hasn’t been revealed, jewelry experts have given estimates between $500,000 to nearly $1.3 million.
