(NewsNation) — Netflix dropped its new documentary series about Sean “Diddy” Combs, revealing a deeper look into the rapper’s life before his 2024 arrest on sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution charges.

The four-part series — titled “Sean Combs: The Reckoning” and executive produced by Combs’ longtime rival, rapper 50 Cent — was billed as “a staggering examination of the media mogul, music legend and convicted offender.”

The release comes months after Combs was sentenced to four years in prison for prostitution-related crimes, though he was acquitted of more serious charges.

Diddy trial jurors explain mixed verdict

Two jurors from Combs’ trial participated in the series and admitted his celebrity status may have influenced the jury’s mixed verdict.

Juror No. 160 said she grew up listening to Combs’ music, though she is not a fan of his personally, according to Variety.

She said the jury focused on the charges that were brought forward by prosecutors and not the violence he exhibited toward his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, whom he was captured assaulting on video.

Juror No. 75 questioned Combs’ guilt, given that Ventura stayed in the relationship for 11 years despite allegations of abuse.

“That was a very, very interesting relationship versus two people in love,” he said, adding, “The very next day, the following day [following a violent incident], if you see how they’re getting back together and exchanging text messages and like nothing ever happened.”

Diddy allegedly hosted ‘Freak Offs’ on Biggie’s death anniversary

In the series, former escort Clayton Howard claimed he was hired by Combs and Ventura to participate in drug-fueled sex parties called “Freak Offs.”

Howard alleged he was hired to attend a party annually on March 9, the date rapper Notorious B.I.G. was killed.

“Every March 9, the day Biggie got murdered, they would fly me to wherever they were,” he said. “I would hang out, drink and party with them for three, four days while I had sex with Casandra. I don’t know if that was his release for that day or whatever, but they always called me on March 9.”

Diddy planned $200M deposit to girlfriend: Doc

Combs was reportedly trying to move money around in the days leading up to his arrest.

In one episode, he is shown on the phone with his then-girlfriend Dana Tran, the mother of his 3-year-old daughter Love, discussing a deposit.

“I’m about to deposit 200 million right now,” Combs said. “I feel good. They’re holding the bank open for me, you feel me?”

Aubrey O’Day says Diddy emailed explicit photos of himself

Aubrey O’Day, a former member of girl group Danity Kane, also sat down for the series and told producers she received explicit photos from Combs via email while filming MTV’s “Making the Band.”

“Diddy made it clear that I was ‘the looker,'” she said. “I remember that phrase a lot. He was separating me, and there was a different set of expectations from me, and I just naturally float into the grooming.”

O’Day read an email on camera that she said was written by Combs: “I don’t wanna just f— you. I want to turn you out. I can see you being with some motherf—– that you tell what to do. I make my woman do what I tell her to do, and she loves it. I just want — and like — to do things different.”
