(WJW) — Sharon Osbourne is thanking fans for their support following the death of her husband Ozzy Osbourne in July.
Sharon Osbourne posted a video to her Instagram on Sept. 12 showing herself and her daughter, Kelly, at a falconry interacting with owls and other large birds.
In the caption, she opened up about her emotional state, saying she’s “still finding her footing,” and thanked fans who have helped her through a difficult time.
“I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media. Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights,” the 72-year-old widow wrote.

She then wrote about connecting with the birds at the falconry through trust and confidence.
“They’ll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. It’s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical. I love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way.”
Sharon Osbourne has kept a low profile following her husband’s July 22 death. Her public address to fans follows similar posts from their children, Kelly and Jack, who each posted tributes to their father in recent weeks.
Ozzy Osbourne died from a heart attack linked to coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s, according to a death certificate cited by The New York Times.
The “godfather of metal” was remembered in Birmingham, England, with a funeral procession on July 30 attended by thousands of mourners.
