(NewsNation) — There may still be some hard feelings with former “Sex and the City” star Chris Noth and Sarah Jessica Parker after he responded to a disparaging comment about her online.
Noth posted a picture on Instagram of himself lifting weights at the gym last week with the caption, “F&@k new years – LETS GO!!!!”
The actor posted the image days after Parker received the Golden Globes’ Carol Burnett Award for her “outstanding contributions to television” at the Globes’ “Golden Eve” ceremony on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
“You mean fcuk sjp & her award right? lol,” a fan of Noth wrote, with him responding, “Right.”
Chris Noth fired from ‘And Just Like That…’
Noth starred on HBO’s “Sex and the City” for six seasons, portraying Mr. Big, Parker’s love interest, as well as in the two movies.
He returned for the “SATC” spin-off, “And Just Like That…” in 2021, with his character being killed off in the first episode.
However, after the show’s premiere, “The Good Wife” star was fired from the series after he was accused of sexual assault by two women.
He denied the allegations, telling The Hollywood Reporter at the time, “These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago. No always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual.”
After the allegations surfaced, Noth was dropped by his talent agency, his Peloton ad was pulled, NewsNation’s Paula Froelich reported at the time.
His longtime co-workers, Parker, Kristen Davis and Cynthia Nixon, posted a statement saying, “We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth.”
