WESTERLY, R.I. (WPRI) — It’s a (Rhode Island) love story, baby, just say yes.

First reported by Page Six, pop star Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will say “I do” at the Ocean House in Watch Hill early next summer.

It’s apparently on a date she knows “all too well.”

Swift allegedly paid for a bride’s entire wedding and honeymoon, which was already booked, in exchange for her June 13, 2026, date at the luxury oceanfront hotel, sources told Page Six.

Initial reports indicated Swift and Kelce would wed at her Watch Hill home, the “Holiday House,” which is just a four-minute walk away from the Ocean House.

Fans have been speculating the date for her wedding and the location online for quite some time.

Even Gov. Dan McKee suggested the couple marry in the Ocean State when they first announced their engagement in August.

“The Fate of Ophelia” singer bought her Bluff Avenue mansion in 2013, where it’s been home to several of Swift’s famous Fourth of July parties.

She paid tribute to the oceanfront mansion in a 2020 song titled “The Last Great American Dynasty,” detailing the history of the house and the people who lived there before.

This will not be the first time famous lovebirds have married at the Ocean House. Former Miss Rhode Island Olivia Culpo and NFL player Christian McCaffery said “I do” at the Watch Hill Chapel and had a reception at the luxury hotel in 2024.

Comedians Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien also own summer houses in Westerly near Watch Hill.

In a statement to 12 News, Ocean House explained it does not allow another party to buy out another’s booked wedding date.

“Ocean House prides itself on being rooted in client confidentiality, integrity, loyalty, and service,” Ocean House’s Stephanie Leavitt said. “The team at Ocean House is committed to offering each of our brides, grooms, their families, and friends an experience of a lifetime when hosting a wedding at our resort.”

“When clients and their families choose Ocean House as their wedding venue, it is an agreement and commitment between our team and that family,” she continued. “Ocean House would not and is not allowing another party or entity to buy a wedding group out of a contracted wedding date. We appreciate the interest in our brides and grooms, yet allow them to confirm their wedding location with who they choose.”
