(NewsNation) — One day after meeting with his father, King Charles, Prince Harry attended an event honoring his late mother.
Harry was at a charity event in London on Thursday for the Diana Award, which is the only charity created in Princess Diana’s name following her tragic death, according to Us Weekly.
“My mother believed in the power and agency of young people to positively impact the world. The Diana Award continues her legacy by putting young people at the heart of everything they do,” Harry said at the event.

“Today is a perfect example of that. My message to everyone is don’t stand still, don’t stay silent — make them hear you because you speak for the majority,” Harry said.
Prince Harry and King Charles reunite
His charity appearance comes a day after he reunited with his father after 18 months.
Harry was seen arriving at Charles’s London home, Clarence House, on Wednesday.
Prince Harry was seen leaving Imperial College London’s Centre for Blast Injury Studies, taking selfies with fans, telling them, “I have to go, I’m so late… I’ve got to go, I’ve got to go. Nice to meet you guys,” according to the Daily Mail.
The Duke of Sussex has been in the U.K. this week for charity work, despite the ongoing rift between himself, Prince William and King Charles.
Harry last saw his father in February 2024, following Charles’ cancer diagnosis, according to NewsNation’s Paula Froelich, and only spent a short amount of time with him.
