(NewsNation) — Pamela Anderson wishes her and ex-husband Tommy Lee’s relationship was in a better place.

Appearing on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live,” the “Baywatch” actress said she hasn’t spoken to the Mötley Crüe drummer in a while and has made attempts to contact him over the years but to no avail.

The famous exes share two sons: Brandon Thomas, 27, and Dylan Jagger, 26.

“They see him. I always ask about him. I tried to send him pickles. I try to stay in contact,” she shared.

The Naked Gun” star added, “My kids just said, ‘Mom, just…,’ I don’t know what it is. I have to stay out of it, and I shouldn’t really be saying anything, but I do wish them the best. I hope everything’s okay.”

She told Cohen that their son Dylan is getting married this summer, and she expects to see Lee and his wife, Brittany Furlan.

When Cohen asked Anderson if she wishes Lee “the best,” she responded that she does and that she thinks the communication would be better between them if it weren’t for Furlan.

“I just think he’s a real romantic. He’s very dedicated to his wife, and I think that he just doesn’t want to cause any waves or maybe, I don’t know, but I don’t like it,” she said.

“But I wish we had a better relationship,” she continued. “I haven’t spoken to him in a long time. I miss him, and I — just with the kids getting married and having grandkids, we’re always going to be connected in some way.”

Anderson and Lee got married in 1995, with the pair divorcing in 1998.

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee’s sex tape stolen

A safe, located in Anderson and Lee’s home, was stolen in 1995 by disgruntled workers who were fired by Lee, according to the Daily Mail. The sex tape was in the safe.

Internet Entertainment Group founder Seth Warshavsky, an entrepreneur within the porn industry, bought the tape in 1997.

Anderson said she signed the release because of pressure.

“The only reason we signed the agreement was (because) it was a week before I was due to give birth and they were making threats to me and I was very focused on much more important things,” she said in an archival interview, according to the Daily Mail.
