(NewsNation) — “Outer Banks” executive producer Jonas Pate allegedly grabbed a production assistant on set and screamed at her.

The allegations, initially reported by TMZ, say the Netflix show’s co-founder got physical with a PA, causing stars Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline to intervene.

Pate reportedly screamed at the woman and grabbed her by the shoulders, shaking her. A source reportedly said the behavior isn’t out of character for him.

The show is filming its fifth and final season in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

TMZ reported that Cline attempted to de-escalate the tense situation while Stokes got in between the pair. Production then continued.

Pate is also the creator of “The Runarounds,” which is on Prime Video, and is said to be writing a prequel for “Outer Banks.”
