(NewsNation) —Millie Bobby Brown is setting the record straight about her relationship with David Harbour, amid reports that she filed a harassment and bullying claim against him ahead of filming season 5 of “Stranger Things.”
In an interview with Deadline about the final season of the show, Brown spoke about her working relationship with Harbour, who plays her adopted father on the show.
“David and I have a great relationship. We work really closely together in the scenes and in preparing for the scenes. I really am excited for everyone to see the labor of love and hard work we’ve put into the closure of our relationship and what that looks like, and to give some of the fans,” she said.
“Especially the Hopper and Eleven fans. Those scenes that I feel, I think, are going to be quite impactful. I love it. It makes me want to bring my A game every single time I see that I’m on the call sheet working with him because I know he’s bringing it right back.”
Millie Bobby Brown alleges David Harbour bullying: Report
Reports emerged last month that Brown filed a harassment claim against Harbour before filming the final season of the Netflix show, a source told the Daily Mail.
“There were pages and pages of accusations,” the source told the outlet, adding that the investigation “went on for months.”
A representative for the “Enola Holmes” star was on set for the fifth season of the series. Season 5 of “Stranger Things” wrapped filming in December 2024.
Brown’s claims against the “Thunderbolts” star did not include sexual harassment allegations.
Millie Bobby Brown: I felt safe with David Harbour
Brown told Deadline she felt safe working with Harbour on set.
“Of course, I felt safe. We’ve worked together for 10 years. I feel safe with everyone on that set. Naturally (we)’ve been doing it for so long,” she said.
“We also play father and daughter, so naturally, you have a closer bond than the rest because we have had some really intense scenes together, especially in Season 2.”
