(NewsNation) — Meghan Markle is giving fans a glimpse of how she celebrated her 44th birthday.

The Duchess of Sussex posted a photo on Instagram Tuesday saying that the dinner she had at Funke in Los Angeles was one of the “top five meals of my life.”

“Blowing out the candles on a beautiful 24 hours, and thanking my husband, friends and family for making it so special,” she captioned her post. “To those of you I don’t know, but who send love every day – thank you so much. Please know I feel it and appreciate it.”

Meghan Markle’s Netflix deal reportedly not renewed

Markle celebrated her birthday nearly two weeks after Netflix declined to renew her and Harry’s multiyear, $100 million deal.

Despite the cancellation, her show “With Love, Meghan” will air its second season later this year.

According to NewsNation’s Paula Froelich, “Meghan will be granted a third season, regardless of viewership, as Netflix is invested in making her product line and show a success… It is the first time Netflix has fully produced a product line and, like QVC or Home Shopping Network, sees it as a new cash cow for them (doing shows and selling products from these shows that Netflix manufactures).”

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos praised Markle in March, saying, “I think Meghan is underestimated in terms of her influence on culture.”

The streaming giant has invested in Meghan’s lifestyle brand As Ever, which had two product drops that sold out in hours, according to People
