Kid Rock says President Trump’s efforts to end diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) are earning him a new nickname: “Dragon slayer.”

In a Tuesday interview on Fox News’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Kid Rock gave a one-word seal of approval when asked for his assessment of Trump’s first 100 days in office.

“Fan-freaking-tastic,” replied the “All Summer Long” singer, who was born Bob Ritchie and is one of Trump’s most prominent allies in the entertainment industry.

“Having a businessman in chief — the business of America has been, as we all know, terrible, especially the last four years. But really for decades before this. And to have somebody come in that’s just putting our country first, securing the border,” Kid Rock told Watters of Trump.

“I call him the dragon slayer for all the woke DEI stuff that he took out,” the 54-year-old performer said.

Trump signed executive orders on the first day of his second term aimed at ending DEI practices in the federal government, prompting multiple legal challenges. The Trump administration has also attempted to pull federal funding money from schools and colleges with diversity programming.

In his interview, Kid Rock applauded the moves by the president, saying Trump is “bringing the real fabric of America back.”

“Patriotism [is] at an all-time high,” he said.
