(NewsNation) — Kanye West showed up to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial on Friday, reportedly to support the hip-hop mogul, a longtime friend.
West, who recently changed his name from Ye to Ye Ye, was photographed outside the Manhattan courthouse on Friday. He was dressed in all white, a potential reference to Combs’ so-called “White Parties.”
Asked if he was at the courthouse to support Combs, he responded “yes” and nodded.
West arrived in a Maybach vehicle around 11:20 a.m. local time and was escorted in by one of Combs’ attorneys, Xavier Donaldson, and Combs’ children.
It was unclear Friday morning whether West would testify. West has been one of Combs’ remaining supporters after Combs was arrested in September and charged with racketeering, transportation to engage in prostitution and sex trafficking.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Kanye West previously accused of sexual assault
West has previously been accused of “touching, groping and fondling” his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta, according to USA Today. Pisciotta said West “forced himself in and on” her multiple times without her consent.
Pisciotta also said in the filing that one of the alleged incidents happened at a studio session West co-hosted with Combs.
The complaint also said Pisciotta was served a drink that was laced with some type of drug, causing her to be in a “heavily impaired state.” Pisciotta said she woke up the following day and wasn’t sure what had happened.
West has denied all wrongdoing in Pisciotta’s claim and said she has never been an employee of his or any of his companies. He has demanded the suit be thrown out and that he be granted court costs.
