PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Five Rhode Island shelter dogs had the time of their lives meeting country superstar Kane Brown over the weekend.
Brown, his wife Katelyn and the rest of his team played with and snuggled the 4-month-old puppies backstage at the Amica Mutual Pavilion Saturday night.
The EGAPL Heart of RI Animal Rescue League and Animal Talk brought the puppies to the capital city specifically to hang out with Brown and his team in hopes of making them feel “less homesick.”
Each of the puppies — named Pebbles, Twig, Lavender, Ocean and Crystal — are up for adoption through the EGAPL Heart of RI Animal Rescue League.
“Who wouldn’t want to adopt a puppy that’s been loved on by the famous country artist Kane Brown?” the animal shelter wrote in a social media post.
Brown’s performance in Providence was the latest stop on his nationwide “The High Road Tour,” which is named after his new album that dropped earlier this year.
