(NewsNation) — Former President Joe Biden made waves when it was announced this week that he was now being represented by Hollywood powerhouse CAA (which also represents Barack and Michelle Obama).

But I’m hearing they left one name out of the announcement: Kamala Harris.

My CAA insider says Harris is being personally advised by CAA partner and uber agent, Bryan Lourde. However it is unclear if she has officially resigned with the agency.

CAA and the Democrats

”CAA has all the Democrats,” my insider said. “They cater to the liberal Hollywood crowd — they also started (the now-shuttered) #TimesUp movement.”

As to how Lourde will advise Harris — who still has an interest in running for higher office — remains to be seen.

”There is some potential for speaking and podcasts — as long as she controls the word salad,” my source said.

But others remain skeptical of how CAA can guide Biden or Harris.

What’s next for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris?

Harris has been humiliated this week after CBS was forced to release its unedited “60 Minutes” interview with her, which revealed long, rambling and sometimes conflicting answers to CBS correspondent Bill Whittaker, which were edited out of the final airing — and her national popularity isn’t strong, with her approval ratings at 44%.

Meanwhile, due to Biden’s alleged mental decline, it is unclear how he would be able to write a book (at least without a co-author), or give speaking engagements.

”Maybe he could speak for five minutes? But who would pay for that? This is a potentially embarrassing situation — we have all seen what happens when Joe Biden speaks on stage and it isn’t pretty,” a DC insider said.

However, Biden and his family may need the money. While he gets a government retirement and has done book and business deals in the past, it’s been widely reported that the former president and his wife Jill remortgaged their $350,000 Delaware home 20 times to collect $4 million.

The Biden’s eyeing a retirement home

The Biden’s aren’t as wealthy as other former presidents and they spent a lot of money on legal fees for themselves and their son, Hunter. There is also speculation they are eyeing a retirement home in the Santa Ynes wine region — where house prices start in the millions.

In addition to these issues, Hunter Biden, despite the pardons, has lost his “sugar brother” Kevin Morrsi, who funded his legal battles for years.

Morris, who is the lawyer for “South Park” creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, is “tapped out” and facing money issues himself, according to reports

Hunter may also need more money for art supplies. The New York Post reported that “millions of dollars” worth of Hunter’s art was burned in the Palisades fire (A report Morris claimed was “untrue”).

“There is a small window for (Joe) Biden to make money so he can leave his wife and children better off,” the DC source said.

Reps for CAA and Harris didn’t return emails.
