“I woke up in Los Angeles to a knock on my door at around 3:45 in the morning,” Osbourne said. “Someone’s who has worked for my family for a good 30 years now was knocking on my door and when I looked through my window and saw it was him, I just knew. I knew something bad had happened.”

The rocker had struggled with health issues, especially since 2003, following a near-fatal quad bike crash. He revealed a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2020 and paused touring in 2023 after spinal surgery.

Osbourne said he went through feelings of sadness, frustration and anger, but felt some relief that he was no longer in pain.

“There was a level of like, ‘OK, he’s not suffering anymore,’” he said. “He’s not struggling. That is something. I wish he was still here. I wish he was still with us all but he was having a rough go.”
