(NewsNation) — “Home Improvement” alum Zachery Ty Bryan was recently arrested for the sixth time in five years.

Jail records obtained by People Magazine shows the actor, 44, was arrested by police in Eugene, Oregon on Saturday for allegedly violating his probation from his prior domestic violence conviction. He is currently being held at Lane County Jail without bail.

Bryan’s fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, was also arrested, and faces five charges, including one count of driving under the influence, three counts of reckless endangering and one count of attempted first-degree assault.

This comes after his arrest in January, where Bryan was arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and charged with second-degree domestic violence. Cartwright, who shares three children with Bryan, told officers at the time of the January arrest that he had choked her and punched her in the face multiple times.

When speaking with officers, Bryan told them he and the Cartwright got into an argument about her drinking, and when he tried taking the bottle from her, she refused and “flailed back and forth,” according to a report.

Bryan has had multiple run-ins with the law over the past five years. He was arrested on suspicion of DUI twice in 2024, according to NewsNation affiliate KTLA. People also reports he was also charged with fourth-degree felony assault, third-degree robbery and misdemeanor harassment in 2023.

He was also arrested in 2020 for allegedly strangling his then-girlfriend at an Oregon home. He pled guilty to two domestic violence misdemeanor charges and was sentenced to 36 months of probation.

Bryan played Brad Taylor and starred alongside Tim Allen in the TV show “Home Improvement,” which aired for eight seasons from 1991 until 1999.

Bryan is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
