(NewsNation) — Food Network’s long-running weekend talk show “The Kitchen” is coming to an end after a decade on air, according to Variety.

The show, co-hosted by Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee Biegel, Jeff Mauro, Geoffrey Zakarian and recurring guest star Alex Guarnaschelli, features the hosts discussing food trends, recipes, and tips for family meals.

Sources told the publication that the network has been evaluating its programming and resources for 2026, as Warner Bros. Discovery barrels ahead with plans to split up its linear channels from streaming services.

“For over a decade Sunny, Katie, Jeff, Geoffrey and more recently Alex have engaged audiences with their individual and distinct food sensibilities and sense of humor that together make ‘The Kitchen’ a delicious way to spend an hour,” Warner Bros. Discovery head of food content Betsy Ayala told Variety.

Ayala continued, “Everyone knows all good parties end up in ‘The Kitchen,’ where the conversation, laughs and food flow; the best parties probably end a little bit earlier then some guests would like, but we’ve got twelve years of memories and wanted to celebrate this team’s hard work during one final holiday season.”

Food Network cancels Halloween shows

“The Kitchen” cancellations come after three of the Food Network’s Halloween-themed cooking shows were quietly canceled, much to the dismay of fans, according to the Daily Mail.

“Halloween Cookie Challenge,” “Last Bite Hotel,” and “Outrageous Pumpkins” will not air this year.

The show, which premiered in January 2014 and has aired 40 seasons, will air its final episode on Dec. 13.
