(NewsNation) — Flavor Flav is throwing his hat in the ring and is offering to officiate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.
The hype man spoke to People Magazine at the 2025 Black Music Action Coalition Gala in Beverly Hills on Thursday, sharing that he was happy for the “Lavender Haze” singer and is looking forward to her new music.
“I’m very excited,” Flav said of her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
“Not only that, I’m very happy for her too. You know what I’m saying? Not only that, but she’s about to hopefully one day get married,” he added.

The rapper also alluded that he’s already getting a license to officiate weddings.
“And if she does, hopefully if I have my license in time, I want to be the one officiating the wedding,” he told People Mag.
Flav is a fan of Swift, referring to himself as “King Swiftie.”
Swift and “The Flavor of Love” star met in 2023 at the iHeart Awards.
“Before I met Taylor Swift, I’ve always been a big fan of her music anyway, though,” he said.
