(NewsNation) — The social media fallout continues for the couple allegedly caught cheating at a Coldplay concert in a viral TikTok video, with fake apologies now popping up online.

According to Newsweek, the couple is believed to be Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, who is reportedly married, and the company’s HR chief, Kristin Cabot. Clips posted on social media show a couple embracing on the kiss cam before trying to dodge out of frame and cover their faces after realizing they were onscreen.

“Oh, look at these two,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin can be heard saying. Realizing they’ve been caught on camera, the woman instantly covers her face while the man slinks down to the ground.

“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” Martin quips, as the crowd roars with laughter.

No official confirmation has come from Byron, Cabot or Astronomer as to whether they were, in fact, the couple in the clip. However, a series of alleged “statements” from Byron apologizing for his actions have appeared on social media.

TMZ has reported that Astronomer confirmed to the outlet that the posts attributed to Byron are “not a real statement.”
