(NewsNation) — Drake canceled the remaining Australia and New Zealand dates for his Anita Max Win.
The rapper initially postponed the tour dates in Sydney as well as Brisbane, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand in February, according to People. Drake was supposed to perform in those cities in March.
“Live Nation Australia regrets to inform you that the previously postponed Drake shows in Australia and New Zealand have now been officially cancelled. Despite extensive efforts to find a solution, rescheduling within the necessary timeframe was not possible,” Live Nation said in a statement on its website.
Live Nation added, “Drake remains committed to returning and performing these shows when his schedule permits.”
Fans who purchased tickets for the show will receive a refund.
The shows were part of the 16-date Anita Max Win tour, which had already included stops in Perth, Melbourne, and previous shows in Sydney and Brisbane, PEOPLE reports.
During his tour stops in Australia, the “Hotline Bling” rapper gave $20,000 to two fans in Perth, gave $45,000 to a fan in Melbourne and upgraded a pregnant fan to VIP in Sydney and gifted her with $30,000 ahead of her baby’s arrival, according to Billboard.
