(NewsNation) — Reality TV star Dog the Bounty Hunter’s 13-year-old step-grandson was allegedly killed by his father in an accidental shooting over the weekend, according to reports.

Gregory Zecca, Duane “Dog” Chapman’s stepson, reportedly shot his son Anthony in a Naples, Florida, apartment on July 19, according to TMZ.

Authorities told PEOPLE in a statement that this was an “isolated incident” and no arrests have been made.

“We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible, tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony,” a representative for the Chapmans told TMZ.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office told PEOPLE that it is “conducting a thorough investigation looking into all the elements” of the fatal shooting.

“The investigation includes statements from witnesses who were at the scene, forensic testing, subpoenas and search warrants,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement to the outlet.

Zecca is Francie Chapman’s son from a previous marriage, according to PEOPLE.

The reality TV star married Francie Chapman in 2021, a few years after the death of his previous wife Beth Chapman, who lost her battle with cancer in 2019.
