(NewsNation) — U.S. prosecutors amended an existing federal indictment against Sean “Diddy” Combs on Thursday, accusing the rapper of “forced labor.”

The move comes as Combs faces a May 5 trial on federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty.

Lawyers allege Combs forced his employees to work long hours and would threaten those who did not aid his alleged trafficking ring.

Though no new official charges were added, the indictment details these new allegations, including forcing employees “to work long hours with little sleep.”

“He looks forward to his day in court when it will become clear that he has never forced anyone to engage in sexual acts against their will,” Marc Agnifilo, Combs’ lawyer, said in a statement to Reuters.

Combs faces a slew of sexual assault allegations, some of which allegedly date back decades.

Combs is being held in the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, where Luigi Mangione, the accused killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, is also held.
