A rapper and influencer is facing felony charges for allegedly luring two women into a vacant area impacted by the January wildfires and sexually assaulting them.
Clinton Adams, known as “Clintn lord,” is charged with three counts of forcible rape and one felony count of assault with the intent to commit rape, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday. The incidents allegedly occurred this past summer.
L.A. County DA Nathan Hochman described the allegations against Adams, 32, as “predatory attacks carried out in an area still affected by the aftermath of the January wildfires.”
“Taking advantage of a historic disaster and causing severe harm to two women is despicable,” Hochman said. “These women showed courage by coming forward to report their assaults.”
Adams, a Northridge resident, pleaded not guilty at arraignment on Nov. 21. His preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 21 in Department 36 of the Foltz Criminal Justice Center in downtown Los Angeles.
If convicted, he faces a possible sentence of 90 years to life in prison. As of Tuesday, his Spotify had 746 monthly listeners.
According to the DA’s Office, there may be additional victims or witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to contact Los Angeles Police Department Officer Lee by calling 213-473-0420.
