(NewsNation) — Candace Owens and Andy Signore are denying having received subpoenas in Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.
The content creators pushed back against a TMZ report that claims they, along with Perez Hilton, were being subpoenaed for their communications with Baldoni.
Lively has sued Baldoni for allegedly sexually harassing her and orchestrating a smear campaign against her, describing a hostile environment on the set of “It Ends with Us.” Baldoni filed a countersuit for extortion, which was dismissed in June.
A judge recently granted Baldoni’s team’s request to get text messages between Lively and Taylor Swift about filming the movie.
In a 43-minute video uploaded to YouTube, Owens said she had not received a subpoena and that the TMZ report was the first she heard of it. She also showed two text messages on her phone with Lively’s name in them, which she said were the only messages with Lively’s name she had.
Owens didn’t deny that she has negatively covered Lively and dislikes her, but said that opinion was her own and she was not part of any smear campaign against her.
Signore also denied being served through his attorney.
