Brandy and Monica announce ‘The Boy Is Mine’ tour

The two recording artists behind the 1998 hit single are coming together for a 24-city “The Boy Is Mine” tour, which is scheduled to kick off on October 16 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Brandy and Monica also announced the tour on social media via a dramatic short film in which both women are locked up in a soundproof (maybe?) asylum and forbidden to harmonize or duet with each other. By the end of the video, of course, the pair had somehow broken free.

Supporting acts on “The Boy Is Mine” tour will include Kelly Rowland, of Destiny’s Child, as well as singer-songwriter Muni Long and recent “American Idol” winner Jamal Roberts.
