(NewsNation) — A deposition date for Blake Lively has been set as her legal battle with Justin Baldoni continues.

According to TMZ, the deposition date is set for July 17 in New York. The deposition comes after Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, was dropped last month. His attorneys were reportedly looking to amend the lawsuit before changing course with the deposition.

Lively and Baldoni were co-stars in the movie “It Ends With Us.” In December of 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment and creating a hostile environment on the movie set. She also alleged Baldoni orchestrated a smear campaign against her.

After a TMZ report claimed content creators Candace Owens and Andy Signore were served subpoenas in Lively’s lawsuit, the two denied having received them, with Owens adding she had no part in a smear campaign against her.

A trial date has been set for March 2026 in New York. NewsNation has reached out to reps for both Lively and Baldoni for comment.
