(NewsNation) — Queen Bey and the “B” now stand for “billionaire!”
Following her massively successful Renaissance World Tour and the Cowboy Carter Tour, Beyoncé is officially a billionaire, according to Forbes.
Beyoncé now becomes the fifth musician to hold that title, joining her husband Jay-Z, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift.
The 35-time Grammy winner reached the milestone following two of her most successful global tours, including the Renaissance World Tour, which grossed almost $600 million in 2023.
Two years later, the “II Hands II Heaven” performer launched a country music tour supporting her Album of the Year-winning “Cowboy Carter.”
The Cowboy Carter Tour not only became 2025’s highest-grossing concert tour ($400 million) but the highest-grossing country tour ever.
Forbes reported the Emmy winner earned $50 million in merchandise sales during her 32-stop stadium tour.
Beyoncé the businesswoman
In 2010, Beyoncé founded Parkwood Entertainment, which manages in-house nearly every part of her career by producing all her music, documentaries and concerts, Forbes reports.
The company fronts the production costs to earn more money on the backend.
“When I decided to manage myself, it was important that I didn’t go to some big management company,” she said in 2013 when promoting her self-titled album, “Beyoncé.”
Beyoncé makes money through music
While Beyoncé has expanded her businesses into a hair care brand, Cécred; a whiskey brand, SirDavis; and the now-discontinued clothing line Ivy Park, most of her wealth comes from her music empire, according to Forbes.
Queen Bey controls the rights to her music catalog and makes a large bulk of her money through her world tours.
The “Bills, Bills, Bills” singer earned $148 million this year, making her the third-highest-earning musician in the world, according to Forbes.
