Anne Burrell found unresponsive in New York City home

Burrell was found unresponsive by police in her New York City home on June 17. She was later pronounced dead at the scene. A 911 call report showed that someone called authorities just before 8 a.m. and expressed concern about her well-being.

In a statement after her death, her family said, “Anne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend — her smile lit up every room she entered.
