(NewsNation) — Alex Cooper and Alix Earle’s relationship appears to be fractured following a TikTok video hinting at a falling out between the two podcasters.
Earle took to TikTok on August 1, saying that the horoscope app Co-Star told her that she “can start s— today.”
“It told me. It said, ‘You can start some s—.’ Lowkey, is this my time that I’ve been waiting for? I have so much information,” she said in the 44-second video.
Earle’s video comes six months after Cooper dropped Earle’s “Hot Mess” podcast from her production company Unwell Network, according to E! News.
“I wake up every day and I’m like, ‘What should I do Co-Star?’” Earle told her 7.5 million followers. “And today, it’s like ‘Revenge.’ I don’t know if I should listen.”
Alex Cooper and Alix Earle tensions rumored
The TikToker did not confirm if her video was aimed at the “Call Her Daddy” host but hinted at a falling out between her and Cooper when someone commented that they wanted to know what happened between the two, E! News reports.
“How much time do you have?” she responded.
In a March TikTok video, Earle told her followers that she won’t be able to continue with “Hot Mess” but did not provide an explanation, according to E! News.
“I have to put a pause on podcasting right now for the foreseeable future,” she said in the video. “Don’t really want to get into the details of it all, and I kind of can’t get into the details of it all right now, but I’ve loved it so much, and I’m really proud of what I built with the podcast.”
Alex Cooper denies rumors Unwell prevented Alix Earle from podcasting
Cooper wrote in an Instagram story March 26 that the “Hot Mess” host being unable to record her show has nothing to do with her production company.
“Hi I see ur comments,” she wrote, according to E!. “Alix not being able to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell. Idk why she can’t/what’s going on. Unwell gave her everything back she owns her IP.”
Two months after Earle announced she won’t be able to continue with her show, and Cooper’s denial, Earle told the Wall Street Journal, “That was behind the scenes,” adding it was “a little bit of a hot mess.”
