(NewsNation) — “Lamb Chop,” a beloved sock puppet who entertained generations of children, is making a comeback on TikTok.

Mallory Lewis, the daughter of children’s ventriloquist Shari Lewis, joined NewsNation’s Dan Abrams with “Lamb Chop” on Tuesday to discuss the legacy her mom left behind.

“Lamb Chop” was first brought to life during a guest appearance on Captain Kangaroo in 1956. Shari Lewis and “Lamb Chop” continued working together in television until 1998.

Mallory said her TIkTok audience mainly consists of women ages 25-55.

“It’s not for the kids. It’s for the parents,” Mallory said. “The parents who grew up on me.’

“They watch my videos because I’m adorable,” “Lamb Chop” chimed in.

One of “Lamb Chop’s” TikTok’s has over four million views.
