(NewsNation) — Some California residents are having trouble finding a new home with rents skyrocketing despite the California law that bans rental increases of more than 10% during a state of emergency. Josh Altman, of “Million Dollar Listing LA” says there are more than 1,500 new renters and that while it’s “good” that ordinances are changing, Californians are “in uncharted waters.”
