(NewsNation) — A death investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in a Dollar Tree store freezer.

Miami police told CBS News Miami they were called to a Dollar Tree location in the Little Havana neighborhood early Sunday morning after a store employee called saying they found a dead woman inside the store.

The woman was later identified as 32-year-old Helen Massiell Garay Sanchez. Police say Sanchez walked into the store Saturday night before it closed, didn’t buy anything, and then walked to a freezer in the back storage room where she was found the next day.

At this time, Miami police say Sanchez’s cause of death is unidentified as the cause of her death is unclear. Investigators are also talking to her family to see if she was dealing with any mental health issues.

According to a GoFundMe page set up by her family, Sanchez was a physician originally from Nicaragua, and she was described as a “devoted doctor and a beloved mother of two children.” The family said their goal is to bring Sanchez’s body back to the country to be buried there.

Donations will go toward repatriation, transportation and funeral expenses in Nicaragua.

“Her strength, warmth, and unwavering love for her family will always be remembered,” her family wrote on the fundraiser page.
