(NewsNation) — A manhunt is underway in Tennessee, where a 28-year-old man is accused of killing four people and abandoning a baby related to the victims.
Nearly a week into the search for Austin Robert Drummond, police found a 1988 Ford pickup truck believed to belong to one of the victims.
Authorities have not said how the truck was related to the search for Drummond, but the father of victim James Wilson told NewsNation local affiliate WREG on Saturday that the truck belonged to his son.
Police are accusing Drummond of killing Wilson, 21; Adrianna Williams, 20; Cortney Rose, 38; and Braydon Williams, 15, in Tiptonville, Tennessee.
The U.S. Marshals Service increased its reward for information leading to Drummond’s arrest to up to $10,000. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the lead agency in the case, is also offering up to $7,500.
Drummond was last seen in Jackson, Tennessee, last Wednesday. He is wanted on aggravated kidnapping and first-degree murder charges associated with the deaths of four family members whose bodies were found on July 29.
The victims’ bodies were found after police discovered a baby abandoned in a front yard. The baby, who belonged to two of the victims, was not harmed.
Two men were arrested over the weekend for allegedly helping Drummond. Tanaka Brown, 29, has been charged with acting as an accessory to first-degree murder and tampering with evidence. Giovante Thomas, 29, also faces an accessory charge.
The TBI believes the incident was a targeted attack.
