NEW LONDON, Ohio (WJW) — Three people were shot, and one person is dead after a shooting at an Ohio senior living facility late Friday morning.
According to the New London Police Department, the shooting took place at the Windy Acres senior living retirement facility just after 10:50 a.m.
Police said there are two shooting victims, and the suspected shooter is dead.
According to police at the scene, the shooter was a resident of the facility, who shot two employees.
The two employees were taken to the hospital.
The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations is helping process evidence. Investigators say there is no clear indication why the resident opened fire.
The shooting is currently under investigation.
