(NewsNation) — Police in Providence, Rhode Island have released new video they say shows the person of interest in the shooting at Brown University.

“We are sharing a video of a person of interest and plan to release additional video as part of the ongoing investigation,” the Providence Police Department wrote on X. The surveillance video shared in the post shows a person wearing dark clothing walking.

The manhunt for the gunman resumed after police announced they released a person of interest from custody for the shooting due to a lack of evidence. The two students who died in the shooting have been identified as Ella Cook and Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov.

Police urges anyone who may recognize the individual to submit a tip online or to call them at 401-272-3121.
