AKRON, Ohio (WJW) — A 46-year-old woman told police in Ohio she was stabbed by another woman, then attacked by her pit bull.

Police responded just after 4 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, to an address in Akron, according to a news release.

The woman said she had been arguing with the other woman, identified as Nicole Posey, 51, of Akron. The victim said Posey stabbed her multiple times with a knife, then ordered her pit bull to attack.

The victim suffered serious physical injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Posey fled the scene and has a warrant out for her arrest, according to the release.

Akron Municipal Court records show Posey now faces felony counts of assault and strangulation as well as a misdemeanor count for the alleged dog attack.
