(NewsNation) —A husband and wife were found gunned down Tuesday in their Ohio home, north of Columbus, as police search for a suspect and motive.

The couple has been identified as Spencer and Monique Tepe, both of whom were in their late 30s, and both were shot multiple times.

Their two young children, both younger than 6, were left unharmed, with no sign of forced entry and no firearm found at the scene.

Spencer was a practicing dentist, and a concerned co-worker called 911 when Spencer failed to show up for work Tuesday morning.

It’s unclear whether the investigation involves a search for a suspect. Police have not provided any descriptions, and there have been no community alerts, but at this point, police do not believe this is a murder-suicide.

Investigators are looking through surveillance footage near the home, including a police camera across the street from the home.
