NEW YORK (PIX11) — A man was robbed twice after he was knocked unconscious on a subway train in New York City on May 15, according to the New York Police Department.

Police said the incident occurred in Queens at the 21st Street-Queensbridge subway station around 9:15 p.m. The 61-year-old victim got into an argument with a suspect, a man, according to authorities.

Police said the suspect allegedly punched and kicked the victim multiple times, causing him to pass out. The suspect is then accused of going through the victim’s pockets to steal his property before he fled the train, according to authorities.

Police said a second suspect is accused of approaching the unconscious victim and taking $45 from him before he also ran from the train.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, according to authorities.

Police described the first suspect as a man around 6’2” with black hair. The second suspect is a man with a heavy build, according to authorities.
