Kohberger was given four consecutive life sentences Wednesday after taking a plea deal for the 2022 murders of college students Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin in Moscow, Idaho.

He declined to speak when given the opportunity, before a judge handed down the sentences for murder and an additional 10-year sentence for burglary.
