(KRON) — The Fremont Police Department said a homeowner returned home and encountered burglars making their getaway.
FPD said its officers responded to the incident at a home on Nov. 8.
“The victim returned home to find two subjects who ran out of his backyard and fled in a vehicle,” Fremont police said.
Police said a search of the home revealed the suspects entered through the windows. They made off with approximately $24,000 worth of jewelry and other belongings, according to FPD.
This remains an active investigation.
