(NewsNation) — Photos released Wednesday by federal prosecutors from the raid on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Miami mansion in 2024 revealed a stockpile of guns, ammunition and lubricants.
The U.S. Attorney’s office of the Southern District of New York released more than 40 images of what was found in the music producer’s Star Island home.
Two of Combs’ properties, one in Miami and one in Los Angeles, were searched by investigators in the lead up to this September 2024 arrest.
Agents used armored vehicle to smash through Diddy’s security gate
Special Agent Gerard Gannon of Homeland Security Investigations testified this week about the Miami raid. Gannon said that agents who had a search warrant to enter Combs’ property in March 2024 and that 80 to 90 agents were dispatched.
Agents used an armored vehicle to smash through Combs’ security gate, handcuffed and searched a half-dozen employees, and deployed boats to patrol nearby waters, Gannon testified.
Combs’ lawyer, Teny Geragos, portrayed the search as overkill.
“So, HSI determined it would come in by land and by sea to secure the property?” Geragos asked. Gannon said Homeland Security Investigations waited to search the property until Combs was on a flight out of town with his family.
Jurors shown box found in Diddy’s home that had drugs in it
Gannon showed jurors a box found in the home that contained various drugs, including psilocybin, Xanax and MDMA. Parts of two AR-15 rifles found on the property were also shown.
Among some of the other items recovered were sex toys, lubricant, baby oil and platform high heels.
