(NewsNation) —The federal judge presiding over the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial admonished and threatened to kick the music producer out of the courtroom Thursday after he made several facial gestures towards jurors.

Judge Arun Subramanian said during a discussion with lawyers he saw Combs looking at the jury and “nodding vigorously” during the cross-examination of Bryana Bongolan, a friend of Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, Combs‘ ex-partner.

The judge warned defense attorneys that Combs cannot engage, interact or try to interfere with the jury during witness testimony or at any point during the trial. Subramanian said Combs had been warned before and that if he sees displays like this in front of the jury again, it “could result in the exclusion of your client from the courtroom.”

Comb’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said he understood.

The judge then added sternly, “There should be no efforts whatsoever to have an interaction with this jury.”

Combs has been actively engaged with his attorneys throughout the trial, passing notes and whispering comments. He’s also been seen making a heart with his hands towards loved ones in the galley while entering court.
