(NewsNation) — The FBI on Wednesday announced it has identified 15 victims in the attack at an outdoor mall in Boulder, Colorado.

The victims range in age from 25 to 88 and include eight women and seven men, according to authorities.

Authorities earlier this week announced Mohammed Soliman, 45, was charged with a federal hate crime and attempted murder. An FBI affidavit said Soliman confessed to the attack after being taken into custody and told the police he would repeat his actions.

Soliman told authorities he’d been planning the attack for a year.

Bishop Grewell, Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado, said Soliman tried to purchase a gun, but when denied, he resorted to Molotov cocktails.

Sixteen unused Molotov cocktails were recovered after the attack, according to Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty. Boulder Police acknowledged they were not aware of Soliman before the attack.

Soliman’s wife and children were taken into custody Tuesday by U.S. immigration officials and threatened with swift deportation.

Authorities said if Soliman is convicted, he would face 384 years in prison. A judge set a $10 million cash-only bond against Soliman.

The federal charge against Soliman carries a statutory sentence of life in prison because his actions included attempted murder.
