(NewsNation) — Billionaire Elon Musk has launched Grokipedia, a Wikipedia-like site that is written by artificial intelligence.

Musk said the site is designed to “purge the propaganda” and is created by his AI tool Grok.

Grokipedia launched with more than 800,000 articles compared to Wikipedia’s seven million. While some Grokipedia entries heavily resemble content found on Wikipedia, which is edited and fact-checked by humans, other entries do not.

On some issues, Grokipedia highlights conservative viewpoints, attacks mainstream media and calls out alleged left-leaning bias.

Conservatives have attacked Wikipedia for being “woke” and complained that some conservative media outlets are excluded from the site’s list of reputable sources.

Musk became irate with Wikipedia after the site included information about a celebratory speech he gave after President Donald Trump’s inauguration, in which he threw his arm stiffly in front of him, which some compared to a Nazi salute.

Musk attacked both Wikipedia and the mainstream media over the gesture, which he denied had any such meaning. His denial is also included in Wikipedia’s entry.
