(NewsNation) — After appearing to be resolved, Amazon Web Services experienced another outage Monday, downing dozens of major websites and apps worldwide.

Amazon Web Services provides infrastructure for many big-name companies, as well as state and local governments.

Applications like Snapchat, Roblox, Duolingo and Fortnite are all affected, according to outage-detecting site Downdetector.

The outage also affects Amazon Alexa, Ring cameras, airport kiosks and more.

“We are applying mitigations,” an update on Amazon’s status page read at 1:38 p.m. EDT, “at which point we expect launch errors and network connectivity issues to subside.”

But several sites were still experiencing problems.

Problems began around 3 a.m., when the company reported “increased error rates” with “multiple AWS services,” according to its status page. A cause has not been determined.

In a 7 a.m. update, Amazon said it is “continuing to work towards full recovery” for some of its functions.

But around 10:15 a.m., the outage resumed.

“We have narrowed down the source of the network connectivity issues that impacted AWS Services,” Amazon Web Services’ status page said in an 11:34 a.m. update.
