(KTLA) — It may be Drake’s birthday, but everyone is getting a present thanks to Dave’s Hot Chicken.

In honor of the rapper’s upcoming 39th birthday, the chicken chain is giving out free sliders to customers. To redeem the freebie, customers must download the Dave’s Hot Chicken app and scan the reward to redeem their slider in-store.

The offer is only available for one day, Oct. 23, which is Drake’s birthday. Customers can visit any Dave’s Hot Chicken location on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time to receive a free chicken slider or tender (no purchase necessary).

Drake is one of several high-profile supporters of Dave’s Hot Chicken, which was founded in 2017. Others include Usher, Maria Shriver, Samuel L. Jackson, and Michael Strahan.

Dave’s Hot Chicken began as a late-night munchies spot in an East Hollywood parking lot in 2017. Since then, the company has expanded across the U.S., with additional locations in Canada and the Middle East.
