Most major retailers, including grocery stores, will be open on Christmas Eve — likely with limited hours — and closed on Dec. 25 this year.
Others will be open, though not for their usual hours, on Christmas Day.
Grocery stores open for Christmas Eve but closed Christmas Day
Here are the retailers that have confirmed they will be closed for Christmas Day this year:
- ALDI: Many ALDI stores will close at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Hours can be verified online.
- Costco: As it typically does, Costco will close warehouses early on Christmas Eve and for the entire day on Christmas.
- Dollar General: Stores will be open until 10 p.m. local time on Christmas Eve.
